A group of international students studying in Jinan joined local residents in embracing traditional folk culture and celebrating the Lunar New Year. From writing couplets to trying paper-cutting and more, they fully immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere.
近日，济南市市中区邀请20余位外籍留学生代表参加在十六里河街道秀和社区的“翰墨迎春 春联送福”活动。外籍留学生和社区居民们欢聚一堂，轻蘸墨汁，展纸挥毫，将祝福融进笔端；左右翻折，巧手裁剪，火红窗花年味儿十足，在欢喜热闹的氛围中感受中华年俗文化。

Jinan native Zhang Lianshui, 68, heads the Shizhong district dragon performance team. Busy with preparing for around 60 Chinese New Year shows, they're excited to hit the stage during the holiday festivities.
68岁的张连水是济南市中区兴隆舞龙队的领头人。龙年春节期间，兴隆舞龙队将有约60场演出。“中华民族是龙的传人，希望舞龙这项非物质文化遗产能够在长久的传承中，发扬好龙的精神。”张连水自豪地说。
